If you are talking Nero6, then it's 6.6.0.18 available here http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe If you mean Nero7 then it's 7.0.8.2 available here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845
It all depends, some people has nothing but problems, yet some are burning and transcoding happily without any issue at all (that's me and few others). I guess it's better to say the new Nero 7 is both good and bad for people who owned it. So far, I'm good and satisfied with Nero. Though I've never had any issue with Nero 7 whatsoever, simply all I care for is Nero Recode/Digital, Nero Burning Rom, Express, ShowTime and Vision. Best of luck!!
Nero7..more trouble than it's worth... I was very impressed with the 6.6.xx releases. They worked well for me. I transcode dvd before burning anyway because nero just takes too long and often ends up with audio problems... On older windoze boxes nero5 with the incd packet writing is excellent. I'm a little concerned with what seems to be a heap of drm stuff hidden in nero7. Watching users with interest.....
I`ve also found that 6.6.0 works the best I`ve had this nero 7 about 6 months now...worst investment i have ever made...this program sucks...I have 2 dual layer burners...and it dos not burn with either one of them...one is an L.G the other is Samsung..
I am very happy and sticking with my 6.6.0.18! If it ain't broke don't fix it! don't need anything else but Nero Burning Rom, Nero Recode, Nero Vision..... and with this version it ain't broke!
After trying 7, all versions, several times, I end up going back to the 6.6.0.18. It has less bloat, and Recode is faster. I noticed in the changelog that they corrected the problem of Recode doing the movie twice to the HDD. I still like the leaner/meaner Nero 6 the best.
