Need a flashcart and a micro SD (4 or 8GB) to put the software and roms on.

    1) Avoid anything called R4, there are 40+ carts all calling themselves R4, these are a nightmare.

Buy Acecard, M3Real, CycloDs, EZ Flash

All work well and are regularly updated, this is very important if you want to play newer games

Most of the flashcarts come with a card reader, if not then you will need a card reader. The speed of the micro SD is not that important, a few games (Castlevania) freeze at certain points with slow cards, but I use a class 2 Sandisk and have no issues.

www.dealextreme.com has an M3 real for $16.60 if you want a faster delivery then try www.gamezway.com a little more but faster delivery or try a local supplier
