My question is, what's the best way to backup Season DVD's such as Star Trek, Friends and etc. but maintain full menus, extras and do it with exceptional quality on a DVD 5. I used to split the files in half and use 2 discs but this takes up too many discs and space.

I have had good luck with DVD Shrink when I use the option of "Deep Analysis"--takes quite a bit longer--depending on your spec's--probably twice as long--(my machine almost 45 minutes)--but well worth it for the quality you get--Have a good day

I agree with Whitfield, I use Shrink and deep analysis, and if you want better quality I will use the Smooth or Max Smooth enhancement because of the compression. Although it takes sometime you get a better quality disk. I have backed up several seasonal, episodal disks using this method. :)
