What is the diffrence in the two camcorders

    I am a newbie to Canon camcorders. What is the diffrence between the Optura and the ZR? What is the best quality in Optura and the ZR models?

    The Optura has better quality, uses higher grade materials and lenses and produces more vivid picture. The ZR line is a lower version of Canon's line of consumer camcorders. All in all it's better to go with one of the Panasonic 3 CCD camcorders, which are maybe just a couple hundred more and produce much better quality.
