what is the latest matrix infinity firmware? simple question looking for a simple answer.

This is my second thread now on this website and i had a very quick responce and friendly advice. This has led me on to ask another question. I have a original matrix infinity chip in my ps2 slimline, it is running 1.93 is that the latest? it took me a while to find.

also if someone wants a link just ask and i would happily tell you where to get the 1.93 firmware.

 

Hi stupsp, I have recently got my ps2(slimline) modded. What I want to know is if my matix infinity is a real one or a fake. U see I want to play games from a HDD and for that I need to disable MACROVISION Fix from the matrix options. If my chip is a fake one, and I do change any options from Infinity option configuration menu (TRIANGLE + CIRCLE) chances are that my ps2 will stop running any game, as mentioned in many forums. I do not want that to happen. Can this firmware upgrade tell if my matrix infinity is real or fake? or can this upgrade fix the chip, if I turn off MACROVISION, and then ps2 fails to boot any games? And has matrix people released anything that can tell if a chip is a real or fake?(I have also read that they were going to release something like that years ago)Thnx in advance, if you can advice anything.

 

okay, the best way to tell is if you open it up and take the photo of the actual chip, i have a original and if a photo can be provided i would happily tell you if its a clone or a fake

 

Hey thnx for fast relpy. I will surly send you the photo of my chip as soon as I can. Tell me how to send this to u? Also, please send me the link for the firmware update. I have also read some where now that the new firmware updates can tell if I have a real one or a fake.
