Well, I would be burning a CD, everything would go fine, until the end when the CD was being finalized, Nero would just sit there, I would hear the CD Spinning around real fast, Nero would freeze up totally, my processor would be 100% used as well.
I would have to restart my computer as well.
btw, If anyone else is having this problem, I upgraded my firmware for my burner and the problem is fixed now :)

    My computer specs:
Op. Sys: Win XP Home Ed.
    CPU:celeron 1.2Ghz
    256MB of Ram
    Nero 5.5.7.8
    CDRW Drive1:TDK 40x12x48x
    CDRW Drive2:Samsung 8x CDRW/DvD Rom Combo

Well I sorta did the nasty thing to myself.

Using 5.582, I was backing up a game CD on the fly while doing a TV capture at the same time. The simulations failed and SmartBURN failed even when I set Nero to max buffer sizes.

Capture when activated, would suck up so much memory!!!

Then on a last bit of stupidity, I imaged to the HD, then attempted to burn the image to CD, THEN I activated another capture [the diff. here was that previously, capture was already started] which froze my system and gave me the same problems you had.

Apparently the burn was fine according to CDCheck and CDR Verifier, but burned the image again to make sure.

The second thing Nero did to me was that Wave Editor [1.0] can edit about 4 or 5 wav files, then it crashes and gives me an "out of memory" error.
