I am looking to find a forum on the internet that that is specifically dedicated to photography, digital and\or film. I consider Afterdawn a great place for DVD and Home Theater discussions, but it can't be all things to all people when drilling down into the finer details. What internet forums are on par with Afterdawn, but are specifically dedicated to photography? Thanks nrnoble
http://www.steves-digicams.com/ This is a good site with lots of camera reviews. All reviews have sample pictures and videos (if supported by camera). There's also a forum but I haven't checked it out.
1) the site arcanix mentioned and 2) http://www.dpreview.com At Steve's, the members tend to be warmer and more easy going. I really like dpreview, they get very heavy into photography. It isn't a place for the "point & shoot" crowd and precisely why I like it. If you want to delve into all aspects of photography, willing to learn and able to accept advice, both sites are a good place to start. Steve's being a little "easier." My suggestion would be to join both and if you really don't like one over the other, drop the one you don't like. Have fun, you'll be learning a-lot!
