What kind of DVD?

    I was under the impression you had to use Dual Layer DVD+Rs... but im reading these stick posts about burning to Dvd-R?... What is the proper way?

    for xbox games 8X DVD-R is a pretty safe bet as long as you get quality media

    burn the ISO to them at 4X and it should work fine
    you only need dual layer for Xbox 360
