    I have a Sony DRU-500ax i'm using dvdxcopy and nero5.5
When i make the copy it will work on my both of my sony dvd drives on my computer but won't work on my PS2 version 4.
    I've used sony+rw and fuji film +r,-r.
    What media would you suggest?
    What other stand alone players?

I have the same sony drive and I can tell you that Imation DVD+RW discs do NOT work with it. The Imation DVD+R work fine... just not the +RW... and freakin CompUSA won't take the discs back... aaaahhhh don't get me started.

I spoke with Sony support about this and they told me they have only tested Sony discs and Verbatim...

I tried the sony +RW that came with it and that worked. Today I purchased some Verbatim +RW (from BEST BUY damn it!) and those work fine as well.

It's interesting and educational to know that not all DVD media are created equal. This lesson cost me $19.95 plus tax! ;-)
