I have the original copy of leopard but I travel with my job and I do not want to travel with it so I would like to make the 1 copy that you are allowed!

Can I use Nero or what is the best way to do this?

There is a simple way to do this.

Go to utility's. in mac os x leopard

insert you mac os x leopard dvd

    Start disk utility

Select the icon for your cd it should say mac os x install dvd or something to that affect

Do not click the mashita cd garbage just the disk icon itself

    then click new image

it will say the images name click ok then it will make a working backup

    Anything else

Ok so I put in my Mac OS X Disk and on he screen popped up a big X with icons:

    Install Mac OS X

    Folder; Optional Installs

    Folder: Instructions

I am stuck from here. I am not sure where to find the disk utilities and then do not know where to start disk utility select icon and so on.

if it is possible to help out a new mac user please let me know I would be greatful!

at the top of mac os x installation after you have mac os x installed.

    Go to the menu go

    Then select utilitys

    Then select disk utilitys

Then select the cd from the list and click create new image
