I have a ripped copy of Nero 6, which I have never used. I also have Adaptec (Roxio) Easy CD Creator, Sonic MyDVD, and Cyberlink PowerDVD. Never had much luck with the DVD writing process, but I am ready to tackle it. I read about DVD Shrink and the DVD Decrypter. Do I need one of these other programs besides Shrink, or is it a standalone? Please advise.
Hi mcsaur I just use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. Once in awhile I'll use Nero but you don't really need it for simple backing up. Also,, I would suggest you uninstall Roxio. My understanding is it interferes with other ripping programs.
