I have been trying to burn many disc for about a month now (house of wax, blade, x-men, but for some reason, all the software i use (Nero, dvd shrink, dvd decryper all tell me that i don't have enough space to write on my disc. My empty disc uses 4.7GB (im guessin thats a dvd 5, but is askin me to put in a dvd 9) i don't know if that will fix the problem because ive been usin 4.7GB for a while with out any problem and these are regular disc im trying to copy. if anybody can tell me how to fix this problem using my usual 4.7GB disc, please share the info. thankx!!!
@joforce2 In order for you to have a successful backup from the original dvd (DVD9) into a 4.7GB disc, you'll need to encode or compress the original dvd so it'll fit perfectly onto a 4.7GB disc. Since you have DVD Decrypter (a very good choice), Nero and DVD Shrink already, go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/256436 -- I wrote that guide for Newbies. Just slowly follow them steps by steps and you'll have a successful backup in no time. Yes... you can even backup a DVD9 (original dvd movie) into a single layer (DVD5) 4.7GB DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R and DVD-RW disc using the guide. Happy burning..!!
