the originals are normally 8 gig (that's what i have in my two pal xboxs) that's partitioned as c: and e: c is for your bios and stuff and e drive has your applications and game saves on it i wouldn't advice adding games to the original hdd drive as you'd only fit one on to be honest and it runs slow (experience) invest in a bigger one the games do run faster as an eg. games are generally anything from 1gig to 4gig some rubbish games are less than a gig apart from gta 3 which is not rubbish anyway hope this helps
