I second that, everything that I have read says that Micro SD cards over 1 Gb seem to have issues. Looks like you can fit just over 20 games on a 1 Gb. Make sure you leave enough room for your save files.

    Hi all.
Just seen this thread & i've bought 2x 2GB Micro Sd cards.
One for the daughter & one for me.
They're due to land 2moro so too late to send back.
Can u tell me more about the problems with bigger cards please ?
Do u think future Firmware may solve this problem with bigger cards ??
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanx.

    Mick

first of all can i start by saying this isn't confirmed.
it is said that only the first few roms work once you've put them on/ or save properly. i can't remember which. i think they are also said to drop out aswell. i'm not actually sure if this is true or not and you'll probably be fine. i just recommend not taking that risk in the future. plus u can often get 2 1GB cards cheeper than a 2GB card. where did u get ur from.

    thanx GreaterF

when oyu say reader do you mean the adapter to fit into your SD card reader, or the actual card reader that plugs into your computer.

and can u please post the link to the $5 card

Rather then just being a flat $5, that Kingston appears to simply present you with a $15 rebate that you must mail in. Plus, the shipping is a little more then most other sites would charge you for shipping. The total comes to about $26. It might still be a decent deal if you want to fiddle with the rebate. Pricewatch.com usually has some good deals on stuff that I have ordered over the years. I found a Sandisk that was obviously more expensive but Sandisk is a very realiable name to me because I have owned several of their products. I thought about giving the Kingston a whirl just to have a second card though. Good find.
