what software do I need

    Im very new here to the burning cds I would like to burn some dvds from kazaa or another website but I tried to the very first time and it didn't come out ,what software do I need to burn a dvd ?and what site is the best {kazza,imesh bearshare}

    You have not picked the right forum to ask this question. If it is downloads you want to know about, go to the p2p forum, which should give you advice and help if you get stuck.

    Once you have your download, you then need to be clear how you want it burned. You say you want DVDs, but you have a CD burner, so that will not be possible! You want to play it on a standalone? You want to make a VCD? You want to store Divx on CD for playback on PC?

    Try surfing our p2p forum first, then go to the VCD forum to see if that will work.

    I download a movie in cd1 and cd2.with these exentions: name of movie.swe sub M svcd.mpg.
    I tried to run it on Divx but is giving me this msg: Failed to open. Please check that it is a valid AVI or MPG-4 file. Can anyone help me to run this movie

    They are probably large files containing bugger all downloaded from Kazza.

    PS : The answer may be a bit dismissive, perhaps you are missing a codec? Hunt around for our codecs on the software section and download them. They will play the movie, if indeed it is a movie.
