i want to edit some music like getting the intro only then after i want to merge my edited music. can anyone help me regarding this problem? what software should i use? thank you. . . . .

There isn't anything that you can buy that works as easily or better than the Audacity program that attar pointed out.

Wavepad is rather good for editing MP3's and Wav. files and is relatively simple to use. You can cut the parts of the song out that aren't necessary. Is great for Mobile Phone ring tones, you save the main part of the song then transfer it to your phone. When you download there are other different programs too, but this is all you need.
