I just got into making backups of my PS2 games, and I just bought some 2nd class media to start burning with DVD Decrypter(The media is RICOHJPN). The speed on the disc is 16x, and I have a fairly new burner(it is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552D GA01 (ATA)). I've heard that I shouldn't burn too slow and not too fast, and I also heard that 12x might be the best option to burn a game at. What do you guys here at AfterDawn think?

    Thank you in advance.

No lower than 4x and I would say no higher than half the speed rated on your discs so 8x.

Most just burn at 4x and have no problems.

Others have burned some PS2 ISO at higher speeds and had no issues either, but doesn't work for every PS2 backup.

Not true. I burned 50+ games at 8x, and I have no issue...
