What The Hell does error mean????

    "DVD-Video files compliance test failed"

    I recently formated my drive to windows 2000 professional from windows 98. And now i get this error when trying to burn my standard dvd files to a dvd+r.

    I can supply more info\ error log if anyone needs?

    " the error,"failed dvd compliance test", comes up in nero too. But nevevr happend in windows 98!!

    nvm foudn problem... it was me tryng to use the cheap low priced winavi converter...ty

    cool,
    but turn DMA on the burner in device manager,(unless you are using a external burner of course)

    Your drive has the latest firmware, that's good !

    You Nero version is a little out of date, v6.6.0.16 is out !

    DMA is off on most of your devices, turn it ON !

    - you might want to uninstall Roxio as it doesn't play well with Nero

    Should have read the little post, it was the files, the poster states he was his conversion tool. So much for all my research, lol :0
