I keep getting this whenever I try to go to sites like megaupload or sendspace. I even got it when I was trying to go to imageshack. Is anyone else getting this or know why this is happening? http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/fireman500/2232.gif
seems like you're in a country where such sites are illegal and thus you're to be censored from them.
I think I know what happened. I used a program to change the ip address of my computer. the program probably changed it to somewhere in the arabic country. I uninstalled the program and I have my old ip, so i'm not sure why this is still happening.
i don't think that would happen; you would have to actually be accessing the net through an arabic ISP...i don't believe the IP address really matters in this case. it could be some kind of spyware, maybe.
That's certainly a malware redirect page.. It's trying to access through a proxy (middle east..my search shows lebanon). You need to do a good check for either win32myz@r variant or a hidden apache proxy running on ports 525xx to 546xx in your hardware.... There will also probably be a keylogger involved.. look for hide.exe (hey Aus..love this guys nick...not that 1337 really eh?)

ddp= the plague of noobs..killed more than I can count (great)... I wasn't having a dig at hax0r101, but people shouldn't try to be what they are obviously not.. I'd say age is approx 14, less years than I have been a real 1337 h4X0r... I come across the odd reference to my old nick from arpanet and phone phreaking days occasionally.. That seems like an age ago, when a commodore 64 was the hackers tool of choice (if you could afford one!!) and a tone dialler lived in the inside pocket... It tickles me how many people try to style themselves after the greats like RTM and DZQ.. We knew how to modify things and get access where we shouldn't before most of the world was aware that computers ran everything from phones to banks. As he obviously runs windows xp (probably home) the best bet is to format everything..run killdisk TWICE and then choose a "real" os instead of some micky mouse toy... How to spot a real hacker.. We don't run M$ junk unless we really need to, and then only for as long as absolutely necessary because it's crap and insecure.. I can't believe I used it for so long!!.. It seems so slow and clunky now, with annoying features..single process, only one active window which you have to click to use..and my biggest bugbear.. Only ONE workspace.. Like getting out of a ferrari and into a nissan pickup.. slow and sad. The shame is it costs far more than much better things that do what we want instead of what somebody else says we will....not to mention not needing antivirus/anti spyware running all the time taking up heaps of precious ram and cpu cycles. All I have is a little command line process called rkhunter, and everything mounted off root in a non standard configuration..plus the only ports I have open are the ones I want open..and I know what they are doing.. why does windoze need an apache server process running all the time? /rant off
