When burning my PC games using Alcohol 120% what do I use a CD-r or a DVD-R. When I burn my games to a CD-R I keep getting a message saying to input the correct CD Rom. I don't know if I'm using the right CD? So should I use a DVD-R?

some new games have copy protection that works by checking if the inserted rom is a original disk

if not copied correctly in the first place you will not be able to play it off of a written disk

i had the same problem with a sonic game i had

i had the original though so i copied it again with gamesXcopy which has an option to hide the fact that its a copy
