I would love to have the old Remington Steele with pierce Brosnan pre-James bond. My wife wants the golden girls.
I had nearly every episode of 'Miami Vice' many years ago on vhs tapes. Taped them all through the summer and kept them on top of the gas fire. Then winter came and it started getting cold in the evenings. Can you guess what happened next? Oh how they melted. Sorry Crockett, sorry Tubbs. Besides that I would want, Every Star Trek episode. Only Fools and Horses. Stargate. and of course, THE SIMPSONS.
there used to be a real cool series on sci-fi called american gothic that i would dig having on DVD. plus the old kids show called "land of the lost". yeah the one with the dinosaurs and the little monkey guys, and of course the sleestacks.
I would like to have all those first Ninja Turtles and Mario Brother cartoons on DVD. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]This Is No Ice Cream Social![/small]
airwolf was cool. millenium as well. i could go for some "what's happening" or sanford and son, maybe some chico and the man, or the game show called match game with all those celebrity people drinking and smoking on camera.
I'm also glad to see all of the csi episodes out on dvd. Now csi miami is coming out, and just starting in the fall is csi new york. Gonna be an awesome fall line up for csi fans, and eventually on dvd.
I think I might also like Fantasy Island. There was something about tattoo that made me want to throw him in the air and catch him again.
Someone in the U.k. tell me exactly how many american tv shows are shown over there, are they popular and for how long have they been doing it. I'm clueless on this fact.
I would like for them to open up their vaults and put some old shows that were never even in syndication and haven't played since their original showing: The Time Tunnel http://www.tvtome.com/TimeTunnel/ It only ran for one season. Another Sci Fi series (Star Trek) came out the same year, so that may have had something to do with it's cancellation. It's About Time http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-6357/ The Immortal http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-10200/ This one was syndicated Kung Fu http://www.tvtome.com/KungFu/ I would like to see it and The Legend Continues on DVD http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-813/ The other thing I would like to see is for them to quit piecemealing out a season at a time. For example, The Simpsons Season 4 just came out, nearly an entire year after Season 3. Why not release the entire collection? At the current release rate it will be 6 more years before Season 10 is available.
We do eventually get most american series on british tv but usually years after their release. Alternatively, they are all shown on satelite and sometimes only a week or two after the states gets them.
That's cool agent-k, I had no idea. I would just imagine there would be a big market for it in the U.K. just like hollywood movies.
darth! I totally forgot about "What's Happenin"! That would be an awesome series to see again. Sanford and Son was great too although not as good as Red Foxx's stand up
damn dude!! how could you forget about Dwayne, Rerun, and Raj? and dont forget shirley, and whatever the hell the little sister was called, Denise maybe. I actually saw one of the first sanford and son episodes the other day, it had a woman they called aunt ethel, she only lasted one show then they brought on aunt ester
Is the "Highlander" series on dvd? I would get that. Or "Dukes of Hazard". _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Dell 8250, Pentium 4 2.80GHz 1.5 GB RDRAM, 200GB HD TDK 840G, Sony DDU-1612 DVD-ROM XP Pro, ATI All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro[/small]
You guys seem to be way too young to remember a show called The Saint. Roger Moore played Simon Templar, kind of a James Bond type if I remember correctly. Also a short live show from the same time frame called T.H.E Cat. Don't remember who was in it, but was about a cat burglar. Both were good shows for their time.
Stig of the dump, Metal Mickey, Black Beauty, Worsel Gummidge, Swallows and Amazons, The Red Hand Gang, Murphy's Mob......... I used to love these when I was a nipper - many moons ago...LOL The complete Dallas and Dynasty saga's......
