    Hi

I have tryed 3 different forms of dvdr disk for playing backed up ps2 games.

    Verbatim 4x
Ritek crap quality ones - (no wonder they dont work)
    Datawrite classic

All work to a certain extent, however they often fail and I get read errors in game, the laser seems to be hard pushing to read it sometimes, I burn at 1x everytime and wondered what disks everyone uses for good success ?

My ps2 is one of the first released so could that also be part of the problem ?

    Thanks

I have a 100% success rate with compusa princo's...Many will tell you princo is crap...but they have always worked for me...What I mean by compusa princos is that princo is the actual manufacturer of the disc...at least the last few I bought....sometimes their discs are leaddata..don't know about those....Try the compusa ones...not too expensive.
