I, like so many people, have home movies on VHS that I would like to convert to digital and burn to DVD. I want something simple enough to use but on the other hand would also like to maintain quality where I can.
I did some searching on Google to get an idea what is out there. There were comments made where using only a video capture card was better than using the card with TV tuners included. There are cards with fewer inputs that made it not as attractive as well as the unknowns regarding the software that comes with each card. I would like to get other people's perspective since there are those in the know and I am not.
I am currently looking at the features of Pinnacle Studio MovieBox Plus that connects with USB 2. It also has the s-video input, stereo audio in put, and IEEE 1394 connector. It captures in MPEG2, MPEG1, DV and MJPEG formats. The software, Pinnacle Studio, seems to make this package more attractive.

I would like to get feedback on anyone's experience with this product OR others being used and can recommend others that may better.
