What video converter would allow me to custom adjust the Aspect Ratio to 'Old CinemaScope' - 2.55:1?

I have some 'Special Edition' DVDs of early 1950s movies, with the picture in the original widescreen CinemaScope aspect ratio of 2.55:1.

These DVDs also contain bonus features showing some 'missing scenes' .... that were shot by people on the set with old 16mm cameras. This video footage is on the DVD - in it's original flat, non-CinemaScope imagery.

I'd like to edit the missing scenes back into the movies; but first I'd like to Adjust/crop/re-frame the flat footage into the movie's original widescreen aspect ratio -- a Letterbox of 2.55:1 -- so the addition of these scenes would match the rest of the movie & be 'seamless' in the edit.

My question - what (video converter) software is available that can Custom-Adjust the aspect ratio of this flat footage to old CinemaScope's 2.55:1?

I've researched on my own & so far, everything I've seen will Only change the aspect ratio to today's Standard Widescreen Letterbox frame of 16:9. Do you know of any software that allows custom aspect settings?

Thank you all for your help and suggestions!

Not real big into AR so not sure and there are probably easier way's if this even work's. MainConcept MPEG encoder let's you convert to a custom AR at their Crop and Scale at Detail's (make sure to untick keep proportion's) and at Advanced>Video Setting's, set Bitrate and to 16.9 or 4.3. MC is very tweakable but good out of the box and I use an earlier version so it may not show the same exactly, MC is also kind of pricey but the trial only put a watermark in the upper left that didn't bother me too much and I'm pretty fussy, annoyed me it was there more, that was awhile ago though. Their preview option will let you see as it's enccoding, small but let's you see what it will look like. Batch conversion at File should join your vob's (be easier to keep track of Bitrate to fit on 1 DVD if all are done at once), output will be mpg that need's authoring with something like Ulead MovieFactory, huge and not worth purchasing for a one time deal but has a trial and its own burn engine, can encode too, I think. The only limitation I know is menu option's, there may be more. Hope this work's.

My mistake, their latest version doesn't resemble the one I use at all and has been totally revamped with a new name even. Nothing is where I said it was, I actually prefer my older version. Anyway, it may let you set a custom AR, have a look at CCE or Procoder (if it's still around) too. They both output mpg and one version of CCE is reasonably priced but I think the trial is limited to time on the output.
