I have a Everex, Explora GA32 with the following specifications Operating System: Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition
    Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 3200+ L2 Cache: 512 KB
    Chipset: VIA K8M800, VT8237R
    Front-Side Bus: 800MHz
    Memory Slots: 2 DDR DIMM
    Maximum Memory Expansion: 2 GB
    PCI Expansion Slots: 1 AGP8X, 3 PCI
    Power Supply: 300 Watt

I Recently Purchased a new Video Card , Works GREAT.

I then wanted to upgrade my ram so I looked everywhere to find a great price and I thought I Found It.
I Purchased it off E-bay and when i recieved it and went to install it, NOTHING. IT WILL NOT WORK FOR MY COMPUTER

This is what i apparently have. I Still question it.

"1gb high density module" 128x64 -Built with 128Mx4Bit Dram
The chips are made my Elixer, and when i cross the chip set #'s thur Elixers Web site, I get that its a 512MB PC2700 Instead of the
    1GB PC3200 DDR Ram.

IN SIMPLE WHAT DOES 128Mx4Bit DRAM work with? cause its sure as heck will not work with my computer. Here is the Link of what i purchased http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160016837914&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1

IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ME PLEASE LET ME KNOW. CAUSE I HAVE RAM I CANNOT USE NOW AND THAT SUCKS!!!

Elixir RAM is god awful, to be quite honest, flog it and get better stuff. Mine only worked reliably because I had a 333mhz FSB and it ran at 83% of the speed. It's not known for reliability or performance. I'd suggest you buy Corsair, Kingston, OCZ, Crucial, Mushkin or Patriot memory instead.

Thanks, I will. The only reason I purchased Elixer Brand Ram, was because my computer came with a 512MB of Elixer Ram. Figgured i would stay the same. I found today 2- 1GB Ram Sticks of CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) for a STEAL 98.00 Included shipping. from a VERY RELIABLE SOURCE. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.
But if anybody is interested in some Elixer 1GB of Ram, LET ME KNOW ILL MAKE YOU A DEAL!!!!!!.

There are quite a lot of brands to choose from to be fair, but I guess I'm just a Corsair supporter now. I had 2x512MB of Elixir RAM before and as mentioned it only really worked because it ran on a 333mhz bus when it was 400mhz RAM. It really isn't designed with performance in mind.
