I'm looking into buying a copy of Intervideo's DVD Copy 3 Platinum. What encryption software works best with this software ( DVD copy3 Platinum ) ?, because I know that it won't copy protected movies at all by itself. I've tried Shrink & Clone DVD but I'm looking for something that has better picture quality. Rebuilder is too complicated for me to set up also. I was able to find Intervideo DVD Copy 3 Platinum online @...ecost.com for only $58.00. Also I was on Ebay and couldn't believe that someone is selling DVD Shrink 3.2 version for $7.00. Why if you can get here on AD for free ??
I personally use anydvd, but I've read that anydvd can conflict with intervideo products. I've used them both together without any real problems, but it's a good thing to be aware of. Other than that dvd decrypter is free and also an excellent program.
@dabig25, Go with either DVDIdle Pro or DVD Region+CSS Free -- they're both great and works perfectly with InterVideo DVD Copy 3. I've used DVD Region+CSS Free (formerly known as DVD Region Free) nearly over 2 years and recently changed it to "DVDIdle Pro" for nearly 6 1/2 months now, and I've never seen any "coaster" so far. In addition, DVDIdle Pro is very easy to use for cracking protection codes by running on the background while DVD Copy 3 does the compressing and burning. I've backed up roughly 100 plus dvd movies with DVD Copy 3 and DVDIdle Pro flawlessly. Both DVDIdle Pro and DVD Region+CSS Free updates regularly in every other week just to make sure you have the latest cracking programs to bypass any new protection codes. Overall, the choice is yours to make. However, I can safely say that I have DVDIdle Pro and it's doing the job incredibly. With that being said; I can assure you that they won't conflict one another - with the knowledge and experienced I've acquired.
alkohol, I did try using DVD Decrypter w/ DVD copy3 & I would put the movie on to my HD w/ decrypter and burn it onto disc w copy3 but, When I tried playing the movie neither my dvd rom or standalones would even see the disc in the player. Could that have been cause of a software conflict ??
Is DVDIdle Pro better to get than Region Free+css ?? I was on their website & it says that DVDIdle Pro has Region Free+css built in it as well, is that right ??
@dabig25, Yes, both DVDIdle Pro and DVD Region Free+CSS are basically the same program which by all means the same engine. However, it says that DVDIdle Pro will help to improves and save your dvd drive in return. Here, you can take a look at the compatibility list of comparing: http://www.dvdidle.com/compare.htm - and decided what you needed. Honestly, I would go with DVDIdle Pro, but that's just me and people are entitled to their own choice. And to the Mods, please "delete it" if you think it's inappropriate to be in here. However, I simply just trying to show it to mr. dabig25 that's all.
