i am looking into downloading a software to where you can convert ANY format into DVD. i have tried soo many trials, and none of them seem to have what its all cracked up to be.. the only one working for me is wondershare dvd. i was wondering if anyone uses this program and is it worth it? i have the trial software, but i just pretty much want a program to where i can convert the file into dvd format, then burn it to where it will read on my dvd player/ps2 instead of using multiple programs.
i have tried some files that are avi, some work, but when i use some of them on wondershare dvd, it can't read it. The Divx formats are readable period. i have tried dvd conversion software, but it doesn't convert them.
DVD Flick(free), ConvertxtoDVD, Nero Vision, FAVC . I do not know of any software that will convert ANY format to DVD, but the ones listed( and are not the only ones, just some of the ones I've used), cover some of the most popular. If you have a format that is not covered by the above software, probably you're better off gettin' a different source for your videos. Wondershare software- never heard of it, and I "wonder", why?
I used the program Total Video2Dvd Author and am extremely happy with it, maybe you should look into that one
i keep on seeing that everyone is using Nero. I have Nero 6, would it be possible to convert and burn with that? i will try Total Video2Dvd, hope it works.
Never heard of Total Video2DVD before this thread. Nero can do the job also( a bit slower though). If you want a great free software, DVD Flick is the one. If you want to buy some, I'd go with ConvertxtoDVD. http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html
