I've been looking for an affordable CD/DVD printer. I've had my eye on either the Epson R200 or R300. The 200 is, of course, cheaper. However, it got some pretty bad reviews at amazon compared to the 300.

I don't much like the little printers that only do that since they usually only seem to print text on the top and bottom of the discs. I want something that will print full artwork.

As I said, though, it needs to be somewhat cheap...meaning within the couple hundred bucks range. Just wondering if anyone here had some suggestions.

You can get a cheap epson printer, forget what its called, that you can buy an add-on for which is also cheap and you can then print onto the disc directly. This will save you lots of money.

I dunno what the epson printer is called as i have forgot but maybe someone else can remember?

I have the Canon i865 which prints directly onto the cd/dvd disk. Fabulous quality and fast. I paid 199 Euros and believe the i950 is even better. You can print vitually anything on the disk.

yeah, i had read that there was a canon one that was pretty good, but from what I understand, it's not sold here in the US. Not sure why, though...
