I have a DVD of the tour de France.I want to make a back up but don't have any ideas as to what software to use to do this, I think it has some kind of anti copy protection ( I'm not sure ). If any one has any
advice as to what to do I would be grateful

Try DVDFab Decrypter (free from this website on the software page) also DVDShrink if needed and Imgburn which will burn the image that Shrink creates.

There are guides and links to guides in my signature. This should solve your copy problem.

Love the TDF, watch it every year.

    Cheers.

DVDFab is a great prog but it's a little unnecesary for a Tour de France video. I only use DVDFAB when it's a special disc and has a special encryption. I recommned using DVD Shrink, it's an all in one tool (excluding the actual burn) and will work on 90% of all movies. HEre is a guide to Shrink:

and here is one for all of Shrink's preferences

These guides will take a while, especially if you have dial-up but give it time.
