I have a DVD of the tour de France.I want to make a back up but don't have any ideas as to what software to use to do this, I think it has some kind of anti copy protection ( I'm not sure ). If any one has any advice as to what to do I would be grateful
Try DVDFab Decrypter (free from this website on the software page) also DVDShrink if needed and Imgburn which will burn the image that Shrink creates. There are guides and links to guides in my signature. This should solve your copy problem. Love the TDF, watch it every year. Cheers.

Does any one have any idear as to what my problem is. Does it make matters worse if the disk is dvd-9 what ever that is I have tried DVDFab Decrypter that can't open the file I get the message Get DVD Infomation Fail 4096 I have also found out that it is a region 4 disk I bought it in Australia and it will not play on my DVD it will try to play on my comp but very jerky Any one out there got any idears. TIA
DVDFab is a great prog but it's a little unnecesary for a Tour de France video. I only use DVDFAB when it's a special disc and has a special encryption. I recommned using DVD Shrink, it's an all in one tool (excluding the actual burn) and will work on 90% of all movies. HEre is a guide to Shrink: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial012.html and here is one for all of Shrink's preferences http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial002.html These guides will take a while, especially if you have dial-up but give it time.
