Whats better...DvD recorder or Capture Card...

    I just want to take shows and movies off the tv and then burn them to a dvd. What the best way to do this.

    Whats is a good high end capture card or dvd recorder??

    Get a DVD Recorder, if you don't mind watching all the commercials.
    Get a capture/tuner card, if you want to edit before burning.
    Hauppauge PVR-150 with GBPVR would be where I'd start.
