whats better out of theses 2?

    i just wanted to know whats better out of these 2 computer componants to build a pc with.
    1
    MB - Gigabyte GA-EP35 - DS3R
    RAM - Corsair 2x2gb ddr2 800mhz
    CPU - intel core2 quad Q9300 2.5
    G/Card - Radeon X1950

    2
    MB - AMD 790FX
    RAM - 2gb duel channel ddr2 sdram 800mhz
    CPU - AMD Phenom 9550 quad core 2.2ghz 4x512kb
    G/Card - 512mn Nividia Geforce 9600 GT

    is the 1st G/card anygood as its what i have in my current pc, would it run the new battlefield BC?

    Why specifically those? The Q9300 and EP35-DS3R are a better combination, but I'd go with the 9600GT over the X1950, it's twice as fast. That said however, an HD4670 would probably be a better bet, as it's the same speed, but cheaper.

    I`d go with the first one any day. It`ll be more powerful and I think tat Intel would be a better option for you in the long run.

    The Intel CPU is about 30% faster, but as I mentioned, the graphics card listed for the Intel build is very old, so replace it.

    the reason i ask is the first is a pc i want to biuld and thats the g.card i have at the mo so i was saving money by not replacing it and the 2nd one was from alienware.com but i just wanted to know what was better so i geuss the 1st and then at a later day replace the g-gard.

    It's always better to build your own PC, and AMD stuff isn't that good any more, but the X1950 is going to nullify your upgrade severely, I'd strongly recommend upgrading it at the same time, even if only to a cheap card like the HD4670, it'll still be twice as fast.
