you have allready made another thread asking pretty much the same question, anyway eurovox max v 2008 is the best one to use by far, its really simple to use and you get loads of channels
if the cable company start using a new encryption then the starview will be a piece of junk more than likely as the starview makers will just bring out a new model instead of a firmware update. While a dreambox will be fine as it supports all encryptions atm.
my guess is that starview and eurovox are made by the same company. but it is very difficult to get help on the dreambox 500C which is the only cable receiver that dreambox makes.
