Go here http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4 download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

    Open VundoFix.exe
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
Prompt about close adn reopen. Click OK.
After reopen, click Scan for Vundo.
    When finish, click Remove Vundo.
    Prompt - remove. Click OK.
Your desktop will go blank as it starts removal.
    Prompt for shutdown. Click OK.

Then, restart in safe mode(press F8 upon boot, select "Safe Mode" from menu).
    Run Ewido.
    Restart in normal mode.

Post new HijackThis log along with an Ewdio log and the contents of C:\vundofix.txt.

There are more things that need to be removed but, the Vundo Trojan needs to be addressed now. We'll see what Ewdio can do also.

    * Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
    * In case it says that nothing has been found, Right click the list box (white box) in the main VundoFix window.
    * Select Add More Files? from the menu that comes up. This will open a new VundoFix window.
    * In the Window: copy and paste the following in the first field: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvvs.dll [/bold]
    * Copy and paste the following in the second field: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\System32\awvvs.dll .*[/bold]

ok but you didn't follow my ewido instructions
when you scan with ewido in future you have to select [bold]"apply all actions"[/bold] or ewido doesn't remove things

Rescan with Hjt and place a check beside:

make sure all other windows are closed and click fix checked

    DownLoad http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip

you may want to copy these instrcutions as youll be going in to safe mode soon.

Restart your computer into safe mode now. (Tapping F8 at the first black screen) Perform the following steps in safe mode:

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Now put a tick by Standard File Kill. In the "Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste each of the following lines one at a time then click on the button that has the red circle with the X in the middle after you enter each file. It will ask for confimation to delete the file. Click Yes. Continue with that same procedure until you have copied and pasted all of these in the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box.

Note: It is possible that Killbox will tell you that one or more files do not
exist. If that happens, just continue on with all the files. Be sure you
    don't miss any.

    Download Superantispyware.

Once downloaded and installed update the defintions
and then run a full system scan quarantine what it finds!

Alot better. Thank you. There are still a few "bugs" at startup. A "TaskPanl.exe" error and the system 32 folder pops up on start up too.

Thanks again for all your help.

download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.
    http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/avenger.zip
Click on Avenger.zip to open the file
    Extract avenger.exe to your desktop

    2. Copy [bold]all[/bold] the text contained in the code box below to your Clipboard by highlighting it and pressing (Ctrl+C):

    =====================================================================
    Files to delete:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\backups\backup-20060812-190555-100.inf

    ======================================================================

Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.
Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
Now click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script"
Paste the text copied to clipboard into this window by pressing (Ctrl+V).
    Click Done
Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
    Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
    4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:
It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.
    5. Please copy/paste the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply.
