Whats going on?

Hi, been here a while but had to change my login coz i lost my old email account etc.

Anyways, theres been some talk around about a type of fix for boxes in Dublin which doesnt include premium.

The guy in town on a street named after a county is fixing boxes today for €15. I've had several calls from ppl saying they have had theirs done.

Anyone know whats going on coz i dont know what he is doing or what he is using???

which boxs would these be? As their is no fix for Nagra 3, so it aint a patch, a bit more info if you have it. You will need to post the names of the boxs and a picture of em actually working.

I heard of him doing boxs before, he was flashing boxs for people which had the N2 fix at the time, the only box working in Ireland is the T variant box on chorus mmds, thats about it.

 

My buddy is in there now with his 100sl, max v and Eurovox Red so when he gets home i've asked him to pull the codes out but obviously asked him to ask the guys in there what they are doing but doubt they'll tell him. Its interesting!

 

codes dont make the boxs work mate, yes for unscrambling, but its the emulator software that does the work. So unless this guy has created a new firmware to work on Nagra 3, To be brutally honest, unless I see pics of the box working on the relevent platform, then I for one wont believe it, proof is in the pudding and the tasteing,

The max v and red dint even have a N2 fix, so now some one has a n3 fix, find that very hard to believe,

But if ya can get the pics of the boxs working on a scrambled chan such as sky sp 1 or say Hallmark, showing the PID and VID info and also the platform, 6887 or 6952 (nthell / corus, I will stand corrected

 

I agree, i'm totally sceptical so we'll have to wait and see. He is saying however that it wont restore s*y m8vies or sp&rts, just the rest.

 

but the rest are on N3, so its the same boat as the premium, if he could get the rest working, the premium will work,

Like I said, I will tip my hat when I see full proof of even the non prem chans working on the boxs mentioned

if its the same guy I am thinking off he flashed boxs last time with N2 fixs etc and folk went around saying there was a fix for all boxs, turned out to be the N2 fix for certain boxs only

Regarding the claims,I wonder is it he cannot fix sly s or he wont fix it.It seems that he can fix 1 he can fix them all ?
Or is it the other stations that have been removed recently are broadcast in a different way.

 

if he can get the other chans working, then the prem chans will work, they are all on the same platform, Nagra 3, so its not a case of fixing one and not the others, fix one, they are all fixed. This is why I am very sceptical and should be filed under rumour until solid proof such as pics of the chans working on the provider showing what I mentioned above, until that proof is forthcoming, then I for one, wont believe it.

I agree and for such a fix to be priced at €15 seems crazy as half the world is after it.

There is defo no N3 fix for any of the channles currently gone to N3 so if that guy is giving you a fix for N3 by all means take it but to tell you the truth its all bull mate belive it there has not been a N3 fix in over 3 yrs so there is defo no fix now still

 

Quick question: I'm in dub on nthell with starview 5 and can't seem to get tv3 any help is really appreciated.

 

if you have a splitter on your incoming cable take it off and do a scan at point of entry of your cable only

I would say by now that there is only a few of channels left on those boxes by now . a couple of free ones and a couple that are still on nagra 2.Don't throw any boxes away yet. because if N~L old
boxes can handle nagra 3 so there hope for our ,if and when there a Fix out there. because u know if there a Fix , the sellers will alway will say u need a new box to handle nagra 3. i have seen on their N~L site awhile ago that they are using on some of their channels nagra 3 and nagra 4 to test maybe?

 

LOL there will always be new boxes if a fix comes along and the old will be left in the recycle bin

also remember providers boxes are not the same as dodgy ones they only mimic them like clones its easy for them to upgrade as its the card remember and dodgy boxes dont use them ?
