    NO. Its all to do with what DVD player is in your machine as to what media it does or does not like. Hunt around, hmmm, FORUMS to find out.

    the best media for the xbox and you can quote me on this one regardless of your drive is the ritek ridisc GO4 4X i use the purple top ones but printables are just as effective BUT REMEMBER:

    the most important aspect is the burning speed i burn at 2X but it is better to burn at 1X if your drive supports this speed.

    i can also give you a link to get them at 17.9p each in the UK.

    I burn at 8x, I don't think it matters what speed you burn at.

    it is a matter of opinion if you want an experts view on this i can post it here if you wish...

    8 speed is ok but it will reduce the life of your laser by at least 4X

    ritek ridisc GO4 4 SPEED are the best discs without a shodow of doubt burnt at maximum 2X

    been burning at 8x for a long time and still nothing in wrong with my xbox,ps2,or dvd player.
