Hello all. I'm going to be making a wedding video for a friend soon and was hoping to put together a nice dvd for them. Anyone know any good software for making your own menus, submenus and what not? Something that's pretty simple to pick up but at the same time offers a lot of customization opportunities? Thanks in advance.

Adobe Encore DVD, Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0, Sonic MyDVD. I use Sonic MyDVD to create my custom DVD's. I'm not saying it's the best, but it's the one I feel more confortable with.

Honestly, I recommend the Windows Movie Maker for this type of video. It's easy to use, relatively fast, in general it's a good choice. Easy titleing, fade ins and outs, music overlays, etc.

Adobe is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too complex for the casual user, and I personally don't like Ulead either.

I do like Nero Vision Express, that's a nice piece of software, and it's fast.

i like having the flexibility of extra features as i do video editing for a hobby so I'm pretty familiar with major editing softwares. I'd like a program thats more geared toward professionals.

Sonic DVD it Pro and Adobe Premiere. Premiere is way to expensive (aprox. $500). Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 gives you a lot of the features of Permiere Pro for only $100. If you want a good starting a program that feels kinda like a professional one, Elements is the way to go.
