Hello all...over the last few months I have been installing video software to try out (along with all the codecs and extensions that go with them) and am trying to delete them all and start fresh with ones that I actualy use. I know how to go to my control panel in computer and unistal the actual programs but how about the codecs??...I dont want to acidentaly delete something that I NEED to run my other programs like Itunes. Any suggestions what I need to do??..... Programs I want to delete= Handbrake, BR Rebuilder, DVD Shrink, DVD Flick, MKVTOVOB, and maybe another one I cant think of. The reason behind all this is some software does the same thing as the next one or that I dont use it anymore...Once I get this cleaned up I will put all video applications in ONE folder so I will know what they are...thanx
DVD Shrink doesn't install any codecs in your system. Handbrake and DVD Flick's codecs are self contained - the codecs are only local to the program - not system wide.
I swore I had to download a codec pack for one of the 6 video programs I have on my computer...thanx for he reply
