sup. i just wanted to start a thread asking about what the worst thing people have done to their/others gc when they were modding them or just in using a gc in general
Well when I first bought the qoob pro I was installing it with my cousin and when we were done we turned it on only to face a black screen but the lights on the chip and gc were on. We then kept fiddling with the inside and behold nothing turned on except the fan. I was so mad and sad and thought my gc was dead but the next day I fixed it due to some solder bridges and now my qoob pro works good now!
ive done that one before but it was because i forget the solder bridge by the ground (black) wire. and once i couldn't get the ground wire to stay soldered to the board so i had to screw it to the metal casing on the dvd drive.
well i managed to break my game cube case while modding it, i put it onb a chair and them i put a towel ova it then i sat on it, i thought that was pretty stupid, but not to worry my game cube now lives in a nokia 5510 box, its the sad yet funny when i show people my game cube, but its funny coz its diffrent
did you just set whats left of your gamecube in the box or did you make a new case for it out of the box. i think making one would be kinda cool
I moved my cube over the carpet once but it toppled over and scratched the hell out of the game. Whats worse is that the laser is the thing that scratched it. It works just as new but who knows how long it will last now. Lesson learned, pick up and move.
on another note: does anyone know what the serial port 2 is for? i would thing that they would have something to go to it.
