Whats wrong with my slimline?

Everytime I put a disk in it all comes up is like it would if their was no disk at all. Is it the laser? I have tried numerous games, and all games were bought from walmart.

hi, it could be the laser. do you know what version it is? as some v12's had problems with lasers burning out. if you do not know the version no. post back with the spch number found on the sticker. is it still under warranty? you could try cleaning the laser & see if this helps

 

SCPH-70012 is the number on the bottom, No it's not under warranty.

this is a version12, like i said they did have problems with lasers burning out, try cleaning it. if it is not reading any discs i would say it is probably the laser. is it modded?

 

No it is not modded, I have swap magic 3I am gunna be using as soon as I get it goin again.

 

if its not modded then this is definatley not a mod chip issue (i'm so clever) LOL

i am not sure if there is anything you can do to test the laser. maybe if someone knows they can post how. other than that you may have to dig deep into your pockets & buy a laser :-(
