My son told me this morning that his xbox is not working. I have never used it before so I am a real novice. I have loads of games for it but I do want to use homebrew software but I will get to that later, firstly I have a problem when you turn on the xbox the games do not load, a setting screen comes up I have tried changing bits on it but makes no diffrence. I have tried to play an audio cd and that plays so what do i do please your help is most needed.
Your gonna have to give us more info. First is the xbox modded. Second do the LED lights flash or change color. Third what do you mean the game doesn't load does it just freeze or does the screen go black and ask your son everything he did when he was on the xbox before it broke. Because he could have fiddled with it. Max
xbox is not 360 but the older black one, it just goes onto the first screen and when i put in the game it doesn't do anything.
So you definitely haven't modded it. What type of games are they. Where did you get them from. Are the games pirated or it happens for all of them. I'm really not sure what could be wrong with it. Tell me what the screen looks like do you get a message saying the xbox doesn't recognize it ? Max
I have normal games bought from the shops, I have tired a few diffrent games but it is like the dvd doesn't read them for some reason. All i keep getting is the first welcome screen that's it
Hmmm. I know how annoying this might be for you. But sorry I can't really help I don't know whats wrong with it. My best advice to you is either take it back. Or you can go to a place where they mod xbox's and ask them to take a look at it. My apologizes Max
