First off the Plextor is by far the best burner. However, they are the worst Ripper made. Their read, rip, compress..Time...whatever you want to call it sucks. I run a business and one part of it is to make wedding movies. I just was talked into buying a PX-755SA at Best Buy. I told them I have 4 plextor 716A's and they burn great. However, if you set them up to rip, they take almost 50 minutes to rip a DVD. The Sony, 800, 810 can do the same movie in 20 minutes. I was talked into buying the SATA because it rips so fast....BULL CRAP!!! When I called Plextor and complained, they agreed ...yes they rip slow!!! Geek Squad..you suck to!! Where can I buy a BenQ...Going to order one tonight. Going to take the fancy "Beast" ( as the Geek Squad called it) and get my money back!!

You can get BenQ drives at NewEgg. I recommend the DW 1650.
