During my time in China a few years ago, I picked up a bunch of audio CD's. One of them was Bryan Adams - So Far So Good. It plays fine in a standard CD player, but my PC does not recognize it when the CD is placed in the tray. It doesn't even think a disk in in the tray. All other CD's I purchased there work fine. This is the only one that gives me problems. I doubt it is an original CD judging from the spelling, additional Chinese characters, lack of jewel case when bought, and price. But the same would be true of the others. So why doesn't my PC know when I put it in the CD drive?
It's copy protected. Not really a proper CD, as CD-Audio should be accessible via PC drives. Unfortunately, these are becoming more & more common these days.
Thanks for the reply. I completely dismissed the idea of copy protection due to the origin of the disk. However, it makes sense.
