    right-click on your background, and select Properties. under there, go to Appearances. there are some options.

    Yeah I know how to do that. Geestar said in a reply to the thread he linked to that if anyone wanted to know how to change the color scheme of their start bar just ask him. I think he means you might be able to get more color combinations for your start bar. I just downloaded WIndow Blinds and have a really nice skin, but if I can get new colors for my start bar without running background programs then thats what I want because Window Blinds uses a few resources.
