Ok I have a few friends xboxes sitting around my room both with their own problem. One is softmodded by me and has a DVD rom issue but can still play games from HDD NP the other is hardmodded with an xecuter and well IDK what went wrong there....was drpped off a staircase so idk at all. BUT! I was messing aroudn with them and and was gonna try to get the Hardmodded xbox to work well i even tried to get the modchip to work in the softmodded one. Strange thing happened when i did this. i put the xecuter (no solder needed) into the softmodded xbox that has the DVD issue and it boots fine. (the real reasoning to do this was to see if the modchip was FUBAR) I inserted a disk just for kicks and laughs..I got floorboarded when it read the disk no problems. I took the modchip and solderless adapter out and to my amazement it still worked. So i fully assembled it and it works like a charm.... When someone knows what happened let me know because i am baffled..
