I try to burn a cd from mp3 files on my PC, and the files are created with the '.cda' extention and are about 1k in size. I have done some googling on this format and they appear to be some sort of 'marker' to the audio file but I cannot figure out how to burn my songs to cd into a mp3 cd format that I can play on cd players.
I have burned using nero 7, Windows media player & Roxio and the same thing happens each time. Is this a setting somewhere on the PC?????
This use to work fine and then it changed for some reason.
    Any help would be appreciated

What you have is normal for a regular audio cd (none mp3). If you want a mp3 cd, you have to select either mp3 cd or data cd on your burning program before you start to burn.
