im from st.helens too, my box is still working but the new N3 cards have been sent out in st.helens, i received mine over a month ago, no time limit on how long there going to last.

enjoy it whilst you can, theres a new method:

Kryptview a780 (which runs through your internet connection) box around £150-160 fleabay.

however, there are pro's and con's on these box's (please read around on the forum, i think theres a thread mentioning the biggest downfall of the box)

or you can like you said, pay for your sub untill (hopefully) N3 is hacked at some point.

there is no downfall on the Kryptview A780 it works perfect and has done since the intruduction of N3 all over different parts of the UK.

It is one of the best supported boxes that is currently working in the Uk and i would strongly recommend it over the other box that is also half working

i know its not in ireland, it may not come to ireland, "though i hope it does"
but time will tell on both boxes in the uk,as what i ment by my comment above the starview was going good for 4 months here and then bang it was gone, that could happen to both boxes in the uk!
no 1 can say for sure if that is not going to happen to the krypt in uk or in ireland if they come here
yes some will say the server is abroad ect..ect, but they said that about the sv server!

ahh no need to be sorry
but then again the laws are different in uk and im sure the same mistakes will not be made over there
as when tommy got on here to let us know what happened, it was like the chap who was holding the server was not the only one that knew it was in his house as they asked a few of his mates to do the same (for the record in no way am i saying it was his mate who grassed) but jealousy is not a nice thing between friends
so id say over there it would be more hush hush and learn from past mistakes

e45 this is directed to you. now im not sure if your supplying these boxes or not, not my business.
But it seems as though you are supporting these a hell of a lot, and the downfall i was talking about is the following:

Because the box's are ran through your Modem/Router, and assuming 50% of customers will be staying with Vermin Media Internet service, the IP is exposed to being connected to those boxes and servers.

I am aware of P2P not getting tracked down etc and thats the same process, BUT, people DO get caught out and you are not informing them of this downfall of the NEW boxes.

The old boxes connected directly into the feed in the wall, you didnt even need a subscription, just a live feed, to actually get a working "dodgey box" or "dodgey modem".

These new boxes run through your Modem and are 100% trackable.

Not sure if you are just promoting these or just steering away from the facts.

    As you stated:

"you can only decide what and when you want something we can only advise what is best that works"

im sure you can also advise on the IP being able to be tracked, as starview was tracked and found (the server) and all the IPs that have ever been connected to that machine can be tracked.

And if kryptview ever have this problem (even though im aware they have took "so called" better precautions for this..) then the users are under threat of being tracked..

Not having a go, but i think its fair to advise on the "cons" of the boxes..

people know what they are buying and no i dont sell them i just like the box as its the best out there and best supported

its down to people what they want to do nobody twisting there arms to buy also this box has been working now going on 4/5 months have you heard of any problems with them regarding ips been looked at ?? i havent

And they need to find the server first dont they ?? do they have durastiction out side the uk in another country outside of there control NO they dont so they are quite safe only thing that could happen is they block the ip what happens there a new ip is done how long does it take 1 min at most
