when the pcs i cant use the router for online gaming

    when i turn my computer off i am unable to use my netgear DG632 for online gaming it is unable to connect any ideas?

    Your computer is off, of course it will not connect.

    but shouldnt the router still work when the computer is off isnt that the purpose as if it was linked to another computer and the routers usb is plugged into the main computer shouldnt the 2nd computer still work on the internet
    any ideas
