When trying to ftp my xbox to computer i keep losing connection

Hey ive read all the forums i can on this and other websites but none of them fix my problem.

Im using a crossover cable.
I put my crossover cable into my computer and into my xbox
Xbox ip:192.168.0.3
Computer ip:192.168.0.4
When it connects it just comes up with a bubble saying connected 100mbps and then that gets replaced with a not connected bubble.

What am i doing wrong?

 

can any one please take some time to help, im getting real fustrated and have tried heaps.
