    Hi

When i start windows, a pop up appears with "unable to start application because system.dll was not found, try re-installing" im not sure what this file does but it sounds important.

I have checked in my AVG anti spyware quarantine folder and found system.dll, but it says its infected with "Logger.Delf.mk and its a high risk object. Should i just undo that file and put it back into my pc(the file is located in C:\program files\common files\ etc)

    What should i do?

your post is contradictory how did you get to your avg if you can't boot up ? anyway try this go to my computer, c drive right click, go to properties, tools, check disc for errors check the first box, make sure before doing this you have done disc clean up and defragged, place you windows disc in the drive and reboot if the error checker finds something missing sometimes it will repair it or take it off the windows disc. good luck and make sure to keep you antivirus, antispyware programs up to date and run them regularly
