WHERE AND CAN U GET THE ORIGINAL XBOX HARD DRIVE???

    can u buy an original xbox hard drive with all the files needed to play on the xbox

    no you cannot


    the original hard drive for the xbox is incoded with a serial number that matches whatever console the hard drive came from if the serial doesn't match what the on board bios on the xbox is looking for serial number wise it will not boot

    He needs to buy an unlocked hard drive. then find someway to lock it back up on his xbox.

    This would call for the marriage theory. You can lock a harddrive but you would have to get some files off the orginal hdd to make the new one work. Look it on here you will find it.
